This is an illustration of a short story about Westala and Viltin. It takes place during the magical midsummer night, and the man with the fiddle is a well known figure in Swedish folklore. He is a spirit, who lures people to fall into rapids. The horse is also the same kind of spirit and you can tell him from a real horse because of the fangs.
